Is the rough idle a typical symptom of a boost leak? Lack of power is one, that is for sure. Is the car in limp mode? Or does it just have no power?

I will do this, however I am pretty sure it is a result of the software, more boost plus more fuel will exaggerate the problem that will manifest itself eventually.

Those are lame excuses, this has been tried before and the revenue lost from no front plate tickets and red light cameras is far greater than any savings from only producing one plate.
