called bmwna and they say the same "no retrofit for non sport 335i" but the representative i talked to hinted at there might being an oil cooler in the future.
then i called my local bmw and the service department hadn't even heard of the retrofit LOL...then i told him the story and he said "well if bmwusa doesnt approve it, then i cant do it"
i haven't hit limp mode yet because of temp....but my car still runs 270 - 280 oil temps which worries me.
anyone think if i can hit limp mode and document it with a photo/video then i can claim for a cooler under the warranty? i think thats a pretty good claim: your are ruining my driving experience by not properly fitting my vehicle off of the production line.
how will i know i hit limp mode? and from those who have hit it about how long of a drive did it take you/what temp was it outside?
