Update:
I finished replacing the spark plugs. Although the idle is somewhat smoother, unfortunately the choppy acceleration is this here
. I am going to try cleaning the mass airflow sensor and see if that helps. Anyone with experience with issues similar to this your comments/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I would really like to resolve this without a trip to the dealer
-Also I know coils were mentioned earlier in this thread but so far:
- no codes
- no misfires
- no sideways shaking (that i can feel anyway)
- while i was changing the plugs I gave them a visual inspection and didn't see anything out of the ordinary.
