the upgraded radiators are only for MT... So us the AT or DCT guys are out of luck.
I would gave JB4's max cool mode a try if you worry about water temperature. It puts the water pumps and radiator fan at max. speed, and I haven't managed to hit limp mode once at the track (road course) this year (and no, I don't drive like a pussy). But again, the weather at midwest is usually pretty mild during track season. You really don't need additional cooling for 1/4 mile unless your track is super hot.
The PPK radiator should work to certain degree, considering how well the small stock oil cooler works comparing to early 335i that doesn't have one. Personally, I am planning just to get the coolant hoses and drop in a bigger setrab core for the aux radiator for the next season.
