You need to make sure you get the one that fits for your car! Very important! Auto and Manual Version are different mechanical wise.

I would recommend you contact the desired LSD distributor (i.e. Turner) and check with them, what you need.

I also have my doubts on a DIY even if you get the whole box LSD. I've read the exchange guide for the differential and then decided to rather spend like additional $400 on a proper install. (Various special tools are required, otherwise it's probably a PITA)
But that's your decision.
I'm aware of the fact that manual and automatic transmissions each have there own diff It's not my first rodeo, which is why I stated the fact that Turner only lists it for the manual trans. As for doing the swap myself I think I've got that covered (see pic) Use to work as a Mechanic for a living and I've acquired various specialty tools doing various mods on German cars over the past couple years So I think I can handle it
