i heard they allready were
my mate says his brother has had it done direct by BMW ( and yeah it was dam expensive ) apparently there is a 'official' remaping place
he was saying that his brothers car service callcuator is linked to it or something so when he goes out and nails it the service interval drops dramatically !! a way to keep it in check for waranty reasons apparently
will try to find out more
