I removed the injectors and sent them off to be tested and serviced. Injector 6 came back as failed so I though that could be it. However, I've replaced it and there is no change. Still getting both codes on a daily basis.
I've checked and rechecked that the o2 sensors are in the correct orientation so I think the P0041 must be an electrical fault of some kind. The fact that when the P2098 code comes on there is no change in the way the car feels has me thinking it could also be something like that.
The car is going in for full diagnostics and a check at an Indy next week so I'm hoping he can do something with it. The more I think about it I'm becoming convinced it's a problem with the ECU.
