That tuning box holds back fuel when at a constant speed, I saw an increased average on a run from 36mpg to 47mpg in our 120d auto, that was the 163bhp version. Around town it went from 34mpg to 38mpg.
Our 320d auto touring, which is 177bhp, is currently showing 46.3mpg, I would expect 54mpg to be easily achievable when I fit a Spider box.
600 miles to a tank is fairly easy now when on a run, so I bet 700 would be possible. I would also bet that if you drove round like a granny for the first few miles of filling up you could get the computer to read alot more than that.
