The jumpers are on the inside of the box, you undo the two screws and you have two rows, one is to increase/decease revs (not sure if that means idle, timing, rev limit???) and the bottom row is to increase power, so I guess that means the amount of fuel ??
I'm not technical so not sure how these things work, but presume that coming off the common rail it must monitor rpm and fuel and adjust, adding more fuel as you stab the gas than you get normally?
