Per BMW, the F22 M240x is around 3,721lbs. The F22 M240x gained around 100lbs over the M235x largely due to the extra weight of the B58. The G42 M240x is about 150lbs heavier than the outgoing F22 M240x. I would assume the G42 M240i RWD automatic will be around 150lbs more than the F22 M240i RWD automatic (3,600lbs per BMW). Still WAY heavier than my slick top M235 6MT with a 1/2 tank of fuel at 3,370lbs!

I'm fairly good with this design, but I sure hope that M240 buyers in the US have the option to get body-colored side sills. If that weren't an option, I'd have them painted and would install the 230i rear bumper.

The punched out fenders are impressive. I have feeling that for the M2, the rear fenders will not be changed (save cost, the car is already quite wide) and that only the front fenders and bumper covers will be changed.

I'm certain this car will look better in person. I don't see it aging well though as it's not very organic. I do agree with many in this thread that the F22 could be pretty bland. There are only certain colors I like and the F22 needs a bit of help with the exterior. Once done though, it can be a timeless looker. The F23 convertible is terrible looking.
