The new and used market is slowly coming back to reality and everyone buying should be aware of that. This time last year the ford dealer near me was asking 10k market adjustment for all new broncos and moving them. They have 6 new on the lot with no adjustments right now that have been sitting for weeks. Used values are dropping as well, almost any new car you buy today you will be losing a good chunk of change on immediately. But like you said worrying about depreciation takes the fun out of enjoying the car. It’s not an investment.
