On cruise control at 110km/h / 70mph our G87 M2 consumes 7.5 l/100km (31.4 US mpg), our 2017 F22 M240i used 7.0 l/100km (33.6 US mpg) on the same stretch of roads, so they aren’t too far apart when using a similar amount of cruising power. Should be able to get the M2 down to about 50 l/100km (4.7 US mpg) with hard track use, as I managed in our Z4M.
