I've just never felt a need to make any further changes to the settings. The car's pretty darn near perfect with the default settings although I think the rev match is not a default setting.

Gotcha. Rev Match is default (per your own picture) and exhaust button “remembers” the function you select, and you can change it with one click on the console button.
That’s what I was saying about you not using your M1/M2 buttons, which is fine since you don’t change the modes anyway when you drive. Even easier for you to enjoy it
