If you’ve got the money and just itching to spend it on something…go for it. It’s your money. I don’t think there’s a clear guideline that can be given by anyone. Many would spend it on something else first, I would presume, especially if you’re after performance over superficial things like sounds and octagonal shaped carbon pcs. Things that would improve upon what BMW provides on the stock model.
My bike has a Ti Akra and as much as it is bling to see, it didn’t really add that much in terms of usable performance for me. On hindsight, for the price, I should have gone for a suspension upgrade instead.
