It took me all of 20 min on my wife's X3MC, honestly the easiest pad swap I've ever done. The rear parking brake was not difficult to retract manually. I found a youtube video that showed exactly how to do it. I've decided on a new 2023 M2 and the first thing I'm going to do is replace the pads after I pick it up next week.
