Unfortunately a new strut is the only easy fix.

A "bodge" maybe is to try and solder wires to the remaining pin stub and the intact pin, then find a connector that is compatible with the plug to avoid damaging or altering the wiring. If the external plug is used, then filling the connector on the top of the strut with silicone and weather sealing the plug with heat shrink is probably advisable.
