Combox updates only to 1006, can't go to 1008?
I just updated my Combox firmware on my 2011 E90 CIC-MID/Business from:
MX-003.004.031
TX-003.004.031
to
MX-003.005.004
TX-003.005.006
using the UPD01006.bin file. When I try the latest UPD01008.bin, I get an error to the effect of 'Update on USB is not the latest version'. What might be going wrong and what am I missing being stuck on P1006?
I know the multimedia version is the same between 1006 and 1008, so only the telephony is updated, but still - I'd hope to get the latest firmware throughout Is it possible that my car is missing some hardware which is required for 1008 or perhaps has something extra which is not supported in 1008?
