So I always try to sleep on my left side. Getting an adjustable bed to raise head / upper body has also helped and it is pretty rare that I get reflux now (always self inflicted, such as eating something I shouldn't too soon to sleep or over-eating).
We have an adjustable bed. Also take a couple of meds for acid reflux; famotidine in the morning and pantoprazole at night. My gastroenterologist recommended both the meds and the bed. Haven't had acid reflux for several years. Don't think I could sleep on a regular bed now. Love the adjustable one.
