Well, I had my M2 (w/MT) out for a drive yesterday. Before setting out reviewed what door lock options are available.
You need to disable the lock after a short time feature. Then the doors don't lock until you lock them both from your door lock controller button or the passenger locks the passenger door using the passenger door lock button.
