You need to disable the lock after a short time feature. Then the doors don't lock until you lock them both from your door lock controller button or the passenger locks the passenger door using the passenger door lock button.

I just tested this and didn't find it to be true.
I disabled that setting and the doors still lock when I get above 3-5 mph
Frustrating that I can't prevent auto locking.
