Gearbox warning is from the CAS, it still expects to old shifter, didn't code it properly yet. Should be fixed with coding, maybe it will need 8HP firmware, because if I lookup CAS in ETK, I get a different P/N for the E84 when selecting automatic transmission. Also my key won't eject immediately after parking car, not a problem because I have comfort access, but needs fixing, also problem is in the CAS.
DSC works, also in the 8th gear. It's the original DSC from 2005. Also Adaptive Cruise Control still works as it should.

do kombi upgrade also required or old can show 8-speed as well ?
