One thing I gather from E92fan, and others, is that the stock 335i oil cooler is a bit poor, this seems to be reason they run hot when mapped rather than the FMIC.
I'm looking at finding a secondary / or larger oil cooler to fit when I get mine mapped.
Even standard the oil temp is easy reaching 130degC+ on a quick blast during hot days, limp mode cuts in at 147deg I believe.
On a warm track day it soon reaches 140degC, even standard, and you have to back off.
