The question is, what advantages has such a technology over a typical limited-slip differential ? It may have safety advantages, but I am not sure it has performance advantages over a mechanical LSD.
Edit: here is how VectorDrive works...it seems that on RWD cars it can work against oversteering (and maybe understeering too). Basically, it replaces the need to steer the car with the throttle (when understeering) or get the foot off the throttle (when oversteering) on cars with classic LSD. It is a nice safety system.
