Yes, 8 inch is usually not recommended for 255s and in the M440’s order guide they have the M797 with square 19x8 wheels for the all season tires and staggered with 19x8.5 rears for the performance tires.
It would be really good to know if it’s a typo and the M240i really come with staggered wheels for the M797 with the performance tires combo.
