The rears are all M2 Competition parts, minus the OEM brackets, as they don't work with F3x - so instead they are fitted with custom steel brackets to suit F3x hubs.

The fronts are F10 M5 calipers rather than F87 M2 2NH, purely because of parts availability on the used market.

Prior to developing the front brackets I had a set of F10 M5 calipers and F8x CCB calipers (same as F87 2NH) in hand. The two caliper housings are identical except for a 5mm mounting height difference on the CCB. Its easy to go onto eBay at any one point in time and find multiple F10 M5 caliper sets, whereas M2 2NH or F8x CCB are super rare on the used market (unlike in the USA, M2 Competition cars in the UK did not come as standard with the 2NH brake upgrade). For this reason, I went with the F10 M5 calipers on the front.

It makes no difference on F3x anyway as you cannot use the OEM bracket from the F8x CCB or M2 2NH - so ether way a custom bracket is needed and it made sense to go with the most readily available caliper as a starting point!

Front discs and pads are obviously M2 2NH too.
