The problem is that the base model Cayman is more money than a fully loaded M240i. This is why you shouldn't compare most cars unless they are OBVIOUSLY built to compete with each other.
I personally love the Cayman, but only after you skip a couple trims. The Cayman S and above trims are beautiful cars and come with solid performance as well. They just cost a ton more.
