Reconsider the MP HAS.

Why?

Installed, the cost may be about equal. Ask your dealer to match the Port installed price of $2,800. Since the adaptive suspension adds complexity, an independent shop is likely to charge more than you expect for installation. And the "savings" may evaporate.

Most importantly, a number of owners are having vibration issues early in ownership (maybe it's brakes) and some dealers are blaming aftermarket HAS for the problems and refusing to warranty the problem.

Take the safe route. MP HAS comes with the full BMW warranty.
