The upcoming 992.2 is going to see mild hybridization and more than likely it will be the Turbo and Turbo S with it trickling down to the other models within the 911 range. An electric 911 has not been completely ruled out either. Porsche Design Chief Believes A Fully Electric 911 Is Achievable:

In regards to Porsche‘s efuel, many of the general public will be able to afford it, it will cost significantly more than what we are currently paying for a top-tier 93 gasoline. It will also be the GT cars that will run on it as well. You will not see a base Carrera or Carrera S running it.
