BMW (as well as other car manufacturers) improved its camo techniques over the years, by using add-on plastic pieces drilled into the bodywork to hide what is not supposed to be revealed yet (see
here). 'Matchbox' fenders would be a cool feature, though.
All G87 M2 test mules feature the same add-on parts - all fit by the same department.
Nevertheless, also with all camo removed, the G87 M2 will keep a rather 'boxy' look & feel. 'Boxy': more bulldog stance (to get the idea: think of striking exterior lines à la E30 M3, 1M and the 2002 Hommage concept car). A worthy, more muscular looking, successor of the F87 M2.
And to put some discussions to bed: no G80/G82 coffin grills on the G87 M2.
