Agreed, they’re often transformative to handling and feel of the car. If you’re sensitive to those aspects nothing else compares. I pestered my P-car dealer to no end when we first got our Cayenne, it just wasn’t tracking calmly at 70 mph and above. After numerous tire balancing and wheel alignment excercises it become acceptable. A year later I put Michelins on it and pure bliss happened . I had similar experiences with a few M cars, not as night and day as the Cayenne but eye opening.
