I've been keeping an eye on the Altamira port for vehicle carriers and there is a vessel called, "Endurance" that is departing today heading to Brunswick with ETA of 1/17. Hopefully your car is on that one and you'll see a status change soon. I've also heard that status Changes may not happen until a day or two after it's already in transit to vpc.
I'm here waiting for a vessel going to Galveston. Surely some others are in the south
