That being said, go try to buy a GT3 with only $10k markup. I was willing to go $20k and got laughed out of the dealership. Called from Cali to Florida and told I would either have to spend way more money or I wouldn’t see one *for the entire production cycle* without some sort of VIP status.
On the other end of the spectrum two coworkers of mine were just quoted ~6 months on a Kia Telluride locally.

I called my dealer just for fun and he had an August build ready the new M3 but I suppose that depends where you live geographically where people MUST have the newest toy, I could see the wait being longer.
Miami, nyc, etc wherever the majority of the people that care about the car they drive to show off. Getting an allocation in Colorado wasnt hard
