I agree most would prefer M240ix, but 230i will be preferable for some who value handling dynamics over power and sound.

I wonder what the xDrive take rate was on previous gen M240i? I rarely see them in the southeast. A small, sporty coupe is the type of car where AWD is the least fitting IMO.
in the 240i it's 53-47, for me is close enough to 50:50 to notice.

While i totally understand the not being RWD, the weight arguments, really i don't know how many could do a blind-test without specs provided in some cars and notice a 53:47 vs a 50:50....

easier to say when you have the numbers beforehand but without info, doubt vast majority can say that difference...
