I believe Subaru states there should not be more than 1/4" difference in circumference, which is basically a same size tire that's just worn down a little more than the others.
BMW giving a 0.8" difference in circumference with the ZTK package seems pretty liberal. However, with a RWD bias, and rears wearing down faster than fronts, this 0.8" difference should gradually decrease.
