My previous track car was a S550 Mustang. In that world, coilovers were frowned on (Ohlins were the exception) but that was mostly because there were so many good aftermarket options for track systems using the MacPherson strut style.

I think we will be lucky with this platform, MCS, Moton/AST, Ohlins, etc will have stuff out soon, just hoping they actually offer dedicated kits not just g80/82 stuff.
We all know coilover has its benefits but I think if you’re not running it max low you can probably retain most of the plus sides of the oem dampers with your springs.
