The issue with the kw/bmw performance springs is that the combination puts the shock and struts out of that sweet spot, that combined with the adjustable perch means that you’re giving up available travel so you will end up riding on the bump stops during full compression which isn’t the goal.

I think you will find on a the street it will ride fine but the car will drive poorly on track under load/compression.

Taiga2002 recently tracked his with a similar setup and reported something along those lines iirc.

Yes, you are correct. The KW HAS kit (manufactured for G80/82) has a softer spring rate than the factory springs. This probably increases lateral grip, but you lose a bit of the responsiveness the front end has with the stock setup. I believe the G87 has a slightly stiffer front and/or slight softer rear rate than the M3 to reduce the twitchiness/snappy oversteer resulting from the shorter wheelbase. After installing the HAS I feel like the car tends to oversteer more while trail-braking and on turn-in, even with my wider rear tire (275 front/ 295 rear). I’m planning on Ohlin R&T coilovers and a 200TW 285/305 setup.

Of course how you setup your car varies on your driving style, but I prefer a car that has a slight safety under steer rather than unpredictable oversteer.
