Plan to keep the new 230i for many years. And respectively disagree a little on blanket comment regarding resale;
I paid $39.8k for my 2018 230i with msrp of $45.5k. Sold it 3 months ago privately for $30.5k after I owned vehicle for 4.5 years. Regret selling and why I put in order 2 days ago for semi-loaded 230i with similar msrp of $46.1k
