I have been an auto broker working with BMW for over 7 years now, and my input after seeing the official September programs is that BMW currently states "Use Applicable Select Balloon Percentage" for MY22 2-Series coupes.

Balloon Percentages are generally a good bit lower than traditional lease residuals, and I assume this is to fill in the gap while BMWFS determines actual residuals. I believe this will be updated closer to US deliveries, so figure Oct/Nov programs.

My (hopeful) prediction - we see a similar relationship between the G42 and 2-Series GC as we do with the 4-series and 3-series - so figure 54% base residual for both.

I'm currently in a G20 M340i but do miss my F22 M235i, that car was a blast. Fingers crossed the lease residuals improve!
