When they revealed the M2C they changed it up from when the OG M2 was delivered. They decided to send the first cars to the US market since it was the biggest. I still believe the official reveal will not be until later this year, just like the 1M.

Yes, agreed. With the 1M, the original US/Canadian customers were Euro delivery, so collection from the Welt in May. Didn't get the cars back home for several weeks.
As you say, now it's produced in Mexico (too?) it will be slightly different.
Would be cool if us Euro customers could do US delivery!
