This is an M240i not an M2, its replacement is the M240i F22 not the M2 F87, it ran almost 3 seconds faster than its predecessor and has already done its job, any comparison to M2 is pointless.
The G87 will be much much faster than the F87 as is normal and as did the G8x compared to the F8x. |
No obsession, just a data point.
In reality, in my mind I was mainly observing that the "new" RS3 is not even able to match the pace of the "old" M2 on track...
