We bitched about the turbocharged engine but praised the weight loss and extensive use of carbon fiber materials. G8x has little of that, feels very much like decontenting with all the weight increase and with the M-DCT gone. That being said, M2 6MT is probably going to be the most reliable track platform in this category. We'll see.
