Experiencing ID8 and the new screen setup firsthand in the i4 and iX, it's too high quality an implementation to not be well-received. Excellent screen quality, excellent graphics, excellent frame rate.
My personal preference is for a functional setup that doesn't distract like the typically gaudy and ornamental Mercedes-Benz designs; for me, ID8 is a clear upgrade over older systems.

I was NOT impressed with the ID8 in either the iX or i4. The new 7 series integration looks the best so far. Still have how the XM will look.
