I am the same; absolutely OCD about the tire pressure. This is a meh feature because it shows you the setting from the last time the car shut down. I guess you need the vehicle to be in motion for the reading to update.
Therefore a scenario where you have a slow leak will not really trigger an alarm till you start driving and the TPS updates the reading. Kind of useless if you ask me. |
That's a good point. I suppose my thought would be if it's anything more than say, 2-3lbs off of normal (but perhaps hasn't set off the TPS yet) at least it can give me a leg up to go check the tire for issues or whatnot.
