No disrespect but "Born in Mexico for the global market" is not necessarily a good headliner statement. Understand that BMW and most other manufacturers produce cars in various global locations to achieve efficiencies. Being a German brand is a bit diluted now like "Designed by Apple in California and Made in China".
I am really glad that all my BMWs till date have come from Germany and hope it remains that way!
