Practically you can see it as AWD light, it increases traction in slippery conditions whether that is environmental induced or heavy right foot induced. Technically it use sensors to move more torque to the rear wheel with more grip. In similar way an AWD system works but here the car has 4 wheels to monitor and optimally move TQ to.
If you see no need for AWD maybe this feature isn’t key for you?
