Posting this again, mostly to document the process. (I had posted a thread about a week ago, and all of my posts got deleted.)

I also did this about 8-9 years ago, when I had ordered my current vehicle, the 2016 F30 340i. (different forum)

It was time for a new car for me, and ultimately decided on the new M2 and put in my order at a nearby dealership on 11/17. I was told that i would be getting the next allocation for this particular dealership.

I received a phone call on 12/8 from the CA and they told me they received their allocation.

I don't know what this means for the timeline moving forward, but I'm looking forward to it!
