Here in east coast, I have a allocation immediately when I put down my deposit last month (August) , and I was told they car will be built in Oct and be here for pickup around December or January. So the wait will be about 4-5 months....
Since then I told my dealer to remove me from the allocation, because I don't want to take delivery in the middle of winter.
I will wait for the next allocation and take delivery in March/April timeframe, and I have not received a new allocation yet. But the dealer will let me know when the next allocation is opened up.

I am having the same issue - a few dealers here in the northeast with an MSRP allocation but I really don't want the car in Feb. Having a hard time deciding when to pull the trigger as I dont want it in Jan or Feb, but I also don't want it next Sept and miss th3e whole year
