I went back recently for a ppf inspection and asked about finishing the tint and I was told that the installer was made aware of 3 instances of roofs shattering during install. The interwebs seem to indicate that this is myth and I can't wrap my head around how or why this would happen, but can't figure out why my installer wouldn't want more of my money. Any thoughts or experience with this?
If you believe the sunroof glass shattering during a tint operation is a myth then offer to in writing release the tint installer from any responsibility in case the sunroof does break.
