Yeah I purchased my car off the dealer showroom floor, so I guess it must have came specc'ed that way. I didn't know remote start was an option.
I wonder if it can be unlocked via those Bimmer coding apps, but that's something I've never played with before. Hopefully someone else will come by and sort it out.
