Definitely. You'd be surprised how profound of an effect track and tire temperature has with braking. At the Glen, I locked up my front tires going into the bus stop chicane because they were never able to heat up to the correct temperature. At the time, I only used about 40% brake pressure. The car basically felt like it was on ice the entire session. It was 29 degrees F that morning and I was on slicks, but it just comes to show the performance difference in colder weather.
